The short answer is "no". 

The longer answer is, that it's never easy, however, it is easier for those with professional training and experience. No car and its paint are created equal. Our responsibility is to assess the paint, its thickness, condition and responsiveness to machine polishing. It's this information which determines the ideal pad and compound combination for the task at hand. 

It only works if there is paint present  

Machine Polishing is a process which involves cutting and refining paint. If your issue is deep scratches or stone chips which have broken all the way through to bare metal, then machine polishing cannot help.

We do have a number of products at our disposal which can mask these imperfections very effectively. Potentially avoiding the need for a costly respray or smart repair. 

Lock-in your professional paint enhancement  

We install a ceramic coating after 90% of our machine polishing services. It is an excellent way to lock in the effects of your paint enhancement and amplify the performance. Ceramic coatings are not indestructible, however, they do provide good resistance to micro-scratches and excellent repellency to bird lime, road salt, UV damage, traffic film and general dirt. The other major benefit is the ease in which it is to wash and dry your vehicle after the coating application.
